The knife sharpener with the ceramic insert has been specially developed for and is exclusively intended for use with steel blades. It has been registered as a patent by Kyocera and is immediately available from well-stocked retailers as well as from the online shop at It costs €16.95 (RRP) and comes in a choice of red or black.
