KYOCERA MITA unveils compact and cost-effective A3 MFPs

The new machines are equipped with a highly intuitive colour touch panel with “wizard”-style navigation which can be customised to guide users step-by-step through everyday tasks such as scanning, reducing the incidence of user error and the time needed to carry out jobs at the device. Management features such as user-defined access controls and cost accounting codes ensure that the new MFPs fit smoothly into an organisation’s document management system.

Ognen Basarovski, Product Manager at KYOCERA MITA Europe, explains the rationale behind the development of the new devices. “In today’s budget-conscious climate, customers need devices that offer the greatest functionality at the most economical price. We’ve made the FS-6025MFP and FS-6030MFP as easy to install, use and maintain as an A4 printer, while also ensuring that running costs are comparably low. They effectively offer everything that you would expect to see in an A4 MFP, with the added bonus of A3 functionality.”

In common with all of KYOCERA MITA’s ECOSYS products the
FS-6025MFP and FS-6030MFP benefit from long life drums and cartridge-free technology, which ensure high reliability, low maintenance requirements, and very low running costs and waste. Their small physical footprint makes them ideal for offices where space is limited.

The FS-6025MFP and FS-6030MFP have advanced features which are consistent with KYOCERA MITA’s higher end products and which will enhance productivity for users. These include a 500-sheet staple finisher, colour scan-to-email, scan-to-PC and scan-to-USB functions as well as 600dpi printing and copying at 25/30 copies per minute respectively.

The new MFPs are available from KYOCERA MITA business partners from 17th of January 2011.
