MPSA Leadership Award

07 June 2012

Kyocera Document Solutions has been awarded The Managed Print Services Association’s (MPSA) Leadership Award for best practices in the OEM category. The award was presented at a prestigious ceremony in Orlando on 25th May 2012. MPSA winners gain unique visibility and credibility within the MPSA community and the global MPS market.

Kyocera won the award based on its Managed Document Services (MDS) methodology and its strong client relationships. Kyocera’s MDS focuses on the whole process of document management and utilisation within an organisation, not just the print outcomes. Kyocera’s entire professional services pre- and post-sales teams are IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualified to assess the flow of information within an organisation – how it enters, circulates and is accessed as and when required.

Graham Cox, Sales Director, at KYOCERA Document Solutions UK said: ‘Kyocera is 100% indirect and our strong company culture ensures that our partners and customers get exactly what they think they are buying - and the necessary support to make it work for them. We’re delighted to have the MPSA validate our MDS methodology as industry-leading best practice globally. Our MDS methodology, flexible approach and dedicated, expert teams mean that our clients know they will get the best possible solution for their business along with unbeatable levels of customer service when they work with Kyocera.“

This is the fourth year for the MPSA awards which have gone from strength to strength with significant industry players competing for the honour of receiving one of the six categories devised to represent the total MPS industry. The awards are open to any company or vendor involved in the MPS market and entries were shortlisted by six peer judges from the MPSA Board of Directors who considered MPS best practices, operational fit, flexibility and growth, as well as business benefits and ROI.

“This is an exciting event for the MPS community and it’s the culmination of a tremendous amount of work for both the nominated companies and the judges. Every year the winning programmes show was a dynamic and innovative industry managed print services has become,” said Robert Newry, Chairman of the 2012 MPSA Leadership Awards Committee.

“These organisations represent some of the best MPS programmes in our industry. We are honoured to recognise their achievements and provide exposure for best practices and creative innovation that set new benchmarks for the marketplace.” added MPSA President Greg Walters.
