Kyocera Coveted Service Award Grows In Popularity

08 May 2014

Kyocera Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, announces the winners of its 6th prestigious global service award. The award is given to service professionals dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and establishing Kyocera as an 'excellent service company'.

The Kyocera Service Award showcases the work of dedicated engineers who go through several rigorous tests to show their skills and knowledge. The 6th competition saw 2094 participants from 26 countries across Europe, South Africa, the Americas and Australia; an amazing 137% increase in comparison to last year. The competition is open to all Kyocera partner engineers.

Since its conception by Kyocera Mita Germany in 2003, the Service Award has grown rapidly from 187 participants limited to a single country in the first year to a global award expecting over 2500 participants for the current round.

The winners from Europe were joined by winners from Argentina, Brasil, Canada and the USA on a week-long trip to Japan and China. The trip gave them the chance to see MFP and printer production lines and meet senior management from the headquarters, giving them greater insight into the workings and philosophy of Kyocera.
